Traditionally, all children in Africa make their own toys out of found materials: discarded cans, wire, old sandals, tires, etc. Following this long-standing tradition modern artists are creating art in all kinds of forms. This fish was made by such an artist but, except for the welding, could have been a toy a child might have made for him or herself. This is an ornament to be hung.
